Kai runs the shared side of owning an aircraft: who flies when, what each flight cost, and what the aircraft needs next. Every partner sees the same book.

Import the flight straight from your EFB, and Kai does the rest: times, Hobbs, the pilot's invoice and the hours left to the next inspection.
Bill on Hobbs, flight time or block time: the group chooses.
Intervals run on Hobbs or airborne hours and on the calendar, so the 50-hour check, the annual and the ARC never depend on someone's memory. When something is overdue, the aircraft can be grounded until it is signed back into service.
Grounding blocks new bookings and tells every partner, with the reason and the dates.

An aircraft share is property. Kai keeps a proper share register next to the calendar and the accounts, so holdings drive booking rights and costs, and a change of partner is a recorded transfer rather than a spreadsheet edit.
| Partner | Shares | Hours YTD | Balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jordan Rivera | 2 | 38.4 | −2,310 € |
| Casey Morgan | 2 | 41.9 | −2,924 € |
| Alex Thompson | 1 | 12.7 | 0 € |
| Sam Chen | 1 | 9.2 | +315 € |
Illustrative figures from the demo group
One calendar per aircraft or for the whole fleet. Booking rules handle quotas and prime weekends; a cancelled slot goes to the next pilot on the waitlist.

Magneto checks, oil changes and the annual scheduled against Hobbs and dates, with the cost of each job attached to the aircraft.

Flying, hangar, insurance and landing fees split by the group's rules. Every partner sees their own balance and pays online or by bank transfer.

Routes from the group's usage logs on one map, with totals per aircraft, the most visited airport and a month-by-month replay.

Kai's apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac are where pilots book a slot, log block and flight times, Hobbs and fuel, and report a squawk. Photograph the panel and Kai reads the fuel and oil levels for you.

Upload the airport's invoice and match it against the flights that caused each fee.
PPL, ratings and medical certificates per pilot, with expiry dates in view.
Ferry, maintenance and test flights flown for the group, kept apart from private flying.
A reported issue becomes a maintenance item and can ground the aircraft until it is fixed.
Owners who sell shares in their own aircraft use Kai as the operating layer: every aircraft runs as its own group of partners, and you keep the direct relationship with each of them. We'll set up one of your aircraft on a trial.
The demo group holds a Diamond DA40 NG with bookings, flights, maintenance and costs already in it.
