How do payment requests work?
Beheer
A payment request is a direct ask for money from members: a set amount, split across the people you pick, each with their own SEPA QR code to pay against. It is the tool for one-off collections that are not usage billing (a buy-in, an insurance top-up, a shared purchase).
Creating one
- Open Money, tab Collect, and click New Payment Request (admins and owners only)
- Give it a title, an amount and an optional due date
- Pick the members and the split: equal, by ownership percentage, or custom per member
- Create it; every selected member gets their own reference and QR code
Getting paid
- Members see the request on My Balance and pay by scanning the SEPA QR with their banking app (or online, when the group has card payments set up)
- The list shows who has paid and who is still open, with a progress bar per request
- Admins can mark a member's part as paid manually when the transfer arrives with the reference
Good to know
- The group bank account (IBAN and account name) must be configured first, in Group settings, or creating requests is blocked
- A payment request is not an invoice: usage is billed through Invoices and Automatic Invoicing instead
