How do I create my first group?

To create a group:

1. Open the Groups page from the sidebar, or click Create group in the group selector dropdown
2. Click Create group
3. Choose a management model:
   • Equal partnership — every co-owner has an equal share and equal access
   • Single owner with renters — one owner controls the asset and rents access to others
4. Enter your group name, an optional description, and your default currency
5. Review the settings and click Create group

Once created, you can add members, assets, and configure billing rules. The management model choice affects which financial settings are available later, so pick the one that matches how your group actually operates.

The fast path: Fast Setup

To do everything on one page, open the group switcher and choose Fast Setup (1 page). Pick the asset type and name (add a photo), choose how you share it (you own it and others rent, or co-owners share), set the currency with an optional usage rate and IBAN, name the group, and paste your member list. The group, the asset, its maintenance schedule and all the invites are created in one go. Billing and subscription come afterwards; the first 30 days are free.
